Fiji has it all, beautiful beaches, abundant sunshine, a rich culture, pristine reefs and some of the world's best diving. Fiji supplies all the classic images of paradise. But the best thing about Fiji isn't its palm-draped beaches, colorful coral reefs, or lush green mountains. It is the enormous friendliness of the Fijian people.

MEKE - Experiencing the Fijian Dance “Meke” is a memorable cultural experience that should not be missed. Watch the locals dance their traditional spear-waving war dance with gentle movements, taking second place to the harmony of their voices. Meke can be enjoyed in the Village or at Emaho Sekawa Retreat.

KAVA - While exploring Fiji and meeting Fijians, you will be frequently invited to participate in one of the most common ceremonial and social customs in Fiji, the Kava “Yangona” Ceremony. Yangona (yon-gon-na) is a slightly narcotic drink that has a calming effect. At Emaho Sekawa we offer the KAVA/Yangona Ceremony accompanied by local Fijian musicians. An evening that should not be missed.
